Marfa Prada.  It’s a completely faux store outside of Marfa, TX in the middle of nowhere.  It doesn’t open, you can’t go in and you can’t buy anything.The artists and supporters of this project knew this too. Made of earth-friendly earth, this biodegradable adobe building will slowly melt back into the landscape once the looters have removed the merchandise. Marfa, despite its location, is one of the coolest little towns pretty much ever. One spring break in college, a bunch of friends went out that way. Marfa was the highlight of the trip, what with its crazy modern art and cute baristas at coffee shop/record stores who wear cowboy boots with Buddy Holly glasses…
